Attendance
In 2003 and 2004, we had a record number of people register, and in 2004 the
number of people who ran in the race exceeded our previous record year of
1998. But 2005 exceeded all expectations, with 205 persons registering to
run, and 182 starting. The addition of a 20K, raising the quality level of
race shirts and finisher mementos, the date change to the second Saturday,
more advertising, what caused the increase? 2007 again was a record year,
with 229 people registering and 183 running. In 2008 we set a new record
again, with 235 registering (the cutoff was 200 but we continued registering
due to cancellations) and 192 starting.
